The City of the Village of Indian Hill, Ohio is accepting applications for a Part-time Recreation Coordinator. The job responsibilities include planning, developing, directing and implementing a variety of recreation programs, summer camps, special events and activities; coordinates and schedules meetings, sport registrations and use of facilities; and, assists with the communications and public relations related to all recreational activities.

Hours for the position are twenty-eight (28) hours per week.

Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the principals and practices of recreational programming and services. Experience with managing a recreation program is highly preferred. Applicants must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as the position interacts continuously with program participants, game officials, coaches, vendors and school representatives. The candidate shall be committed to the mission, vision and values of the City and the Recreation Commission through ethical conduct, community stewardship, individual initiative and responsive service. Must demonstrate leadership, management and technical skills through effective collaboration, using team resources, progressive decision making, personal accountability and responsibility. Applicants must be organized, detailed-oriented and effectively prioritize workloads.
